If something has gone wrong in your home, please let us know as soon as possible using our online maintenance reporting service.
Providing photographs, videos and as much information as possible will help us understand the problem and arrange the right assistance.
Before Reporting the Problem
Some common issues may have a simple solution, so it is worth carrying out a few safe checks first.
No water
- Check whether your neighbours are also affected.
- Check your water supplier’s website for any reported problems in your area.
- Make sure the internal stop tap has not been turned off.
No electricity
- Check your fuse box to see whether a switch has tripped.
- Unplug the appliance you were using when the power went off before safely resetting the switch.
- Check whether neighbouring properties are also affected.
- If there is a wider power cut, call 105 or visit the Power Cut 105 website.
Boiler or heating problems
- Check that the boiler is switched on and displaying power.
- Check the thermostat, timer and boiler pressure.
- Look for an error code on the boiler display.
- Search online or on YouTube using the boiler make, model and error code for the manufacturer’s instructions.
Appliance problems
Check that the appliance is switched on, plugged in and that a fuse has not tripped. You may also find a helpful manufacturer’s guide or video by searching for the appliance make, model and error code.
Note: Only carry out simple checks that can be completed safely. Never remove covers or attempt to repair gas, electrical, heating or plumbing equipment yourself.

Routine repairs, minor leaks, dripping taps, appliance faults and other problems that can safely wait should be reported online and will be dealt with during normal office hours.
